Miriana Borg
BOTOXBADDIE was set up by Nurse Miriana Borg in January 2023.
Nurse Miriana started off her career in 2017 after she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the University of Malta. She then completed her Masters Degree in Clinical Research at Newcastle University, UK.

Since 2017, Nurse Miriana has worked in several Maltese hospitals and clinics where she specialised in surgical and anaesthesia nursing. After working as a registered nurse for 5 years, Nurse Miriana continued to pursue her studies in Medical Aesthetics.
She attended several courses in the UK and in Norway, where she got her Advanced Certification in Facial Injectables. Nurse Miriana then joined an aesthetics internship with a well-established Maltese plastic surgeon, who continued to enforce her knowledge and refine her skills.
At the start of 2023, Nurse Miriana opened up her own med-aesthetic practice offering BOTOX® Treatments, Dermal Fillers and Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy.

BOTOX®
Botox® is a medication that is injected in the facial muscles to treat wrinkles. The full effect of Botox® lasts up to 3 months, and then slowly starts to wear off.
Botox® can also be used in clients with excessive armpit sweating, and in this area its effect lasts between 9 - 12 months.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers are a type of hyaluronic acid gel that are injected in the face to create volume, increase skin hydration and balance out facial proportions.
Depending on the type of filler, the effects can last between 9 - 18 months.
Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy
Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP), uses the client's own blood as a treatment. The blood sample is placed in a centrifuge machine that separates the red and white blood components.
The PRP cells from the sample are extracted and reinjected into the client's face to stimulate the production of collagen.
It can also be reinjected into the client's scalp to stimulate hair growth.
